Hydro-static pressure resistance principle of compound geomembrane 

When the pressure head on both sides of the compound geomembrane reaches a certain value, the compound geomembrane will rupture. The hydraulic pressure curing on both sides of the sample is gradually increased and maintained for a certain time. When the seepage flow increases rapidly, it means that the sample is damaged, and the hydro-static pressure resistance value of the sample is obtained.

Maintain the above pressure of the compound geomembrane for at least 2 hours. 

Observe the change of the water level of the seepage pipe. The water level of the compound geomembrane is basically stable (the seepage flow is 0), then the pressure is increased step by step from 0.1-0.2mpa as the difference, and each stage is maintained 2h, until the phenomenon of rapid increase in seepage flow rate, indicating that the sample has cracked, the first-stage pressure is used as the hydro-static pressure resistance (mpa).

If the compound geomembrane only needs to determine whether the geomembrane sample reaches a certain hydro-static pressure resistance value, it can be directly pressurized to this pressure and maintained for 2 hours, and then judged to be in compliance with the requirements.

Determine at least 3 samples of each sample of the compound geomembrane, and use the lower value as the hydro-static pressure resistance of the sample.
