Composite Membrane in Water Saving Reconstruction Project

The connection between the composite impermeable membrane and the surrounding structure should be anchored with expansion bolts and steel plate beading, and the connection parts should be painted with asphalt (thickness 2mm) to prevent leakage.

The thickness of the anti-seepage membrane is not less than 0.25mm. If the membrane is too thin, it may cause air holes, and it is easy to be damaged during construction to reduce the anti-seepage effect.

During the construction of impermeable membranes, special attention should be paid to ensure that the laying is not too tight or wrinkled, and the splicing should be firm. The construction shall be strictly in accordance with the technical specifications, and the quality of preparation, laying, splicing, inspection and back-filling shall be controlled.

Due to the good anti-seepage effect of the composite geomembrane, at present, this kind of material is widely used in the construction project of water saving reconstruction and continuation supporting project in the irrigation area, which has been widely praised by HDPE geomembrane design and construction organizations.
